ABOUT ME.

Hi! I'm Ashley Eckert, born and raised in the Coachella Valley, I'm currently a second year Computer Science major at the University of California, San Diego. What lured me into Computer Science was my brief knowledge of HTML while I was a teenager sitting at home on Tumblr, editing my theme constantly. I took an elective class on HTML my first quarter in college, and taught myself the rest.

I enjoy creative activities and have experience in all types of design. I previously interned at Coachella Magazine for the summer, multi-tasking as a reporter, writer, and design intern. I enjoy mentally stimulating design, and on my free time I like to play the Saxophone, listen to Jazz music, and paint.
